Available: Jan 01, 2014 through Jan 01, 2015
Start the new year with a new kind of studio practice! The Window Studio project is looking for artists to rent its fantastic storefront studio. Having a storefront studio allows you not only to create but to exhibit and sell your work, while engaging with the public as part of this community art project in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. You can also offer workshops, and curate exhibits in the space as part of the project. Two studio spaces are available, one is fully private with its own window and garden access in addition to use of the storefront display area (located at the back in photo 2, better photo available shortly). The second/main space can be rented on a split schedule or shared basis (i.e. you will have it all to yourself on days that I am not there.) Ideal for artists who are looking not just for space, but to get involved in an exciting project that makes a difference in the life of the neighborhood.
