Type of Call: Permanent Outdoor Sculpture Purchase

Synopsis: The Aberdeen Downtown Association and Aberdeen Area Arts Council will hold a competition for a permanent sculpture to be placed in downtown Aberdeen. Eight finalists will submit sculptures for a 2 year juried show. The selected sculpture will be purchased with a budget not to exceed $60,000. All eight of the finalist’s sculptures will also be marketed to the greater public, at a 20% commission.
