"Artist's Professional Practices (How to Market Yourself)" Panel

ATOA will be kicking off its 39th season with a very pertinent topic that every artist, regardless of age or experience will benefit from.
 
Mitch  Pilnick , ATOA board member, art appreciator and artist representative will moderate a  discussion on various channels of distribution and how a visual artist  can best
market themselves and their work for optimum exposure and career  success.

The distinguished panel will consist of:
 
Jackie Battenfield Author of “The Artist's Guide: How to Make A Living Doing What You Love”. Visual artist and teacher of professional development classes  
 
Heather Darcy Bhandari Author of "Art/Work". Director of Artist Relations, Mixed Greens Gallery-Chelsea and adjunct lecturer.
 
Brainard Carey Author of “Making It in the Art World” & “New Markets for Artists”. Teacher of “The Art World Demystified” on-line educational system.       
 
Bill Carroll Program Director of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Studio Program, curator and artist. Teacher of “Professional Practice” Pratt Institute.
 
Felicity Hogan Program Officer at New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) providing professional development opportunities for artists. Curator & art administrator.
