CINTAS Foundation 2012 Fellowship Competition

Miami Dade College Art Gallery System and the CINTAS Foundation are seeking artists, composers, and architects to complete an application for submission to the 2012 CINTAS Foundation Fellowship Competition and the opportunity to be awarded 10,000 USD in their respective discipline.

The competition will open May 20th, 2012. Fellowship applicants must submit applications and examples of their work by August 1, 2012.  Eligibility, competition requirements and details and application forms are posted on the CINTAS Foundation website:
www.cintasfoundation.org.

The CINTAS Foundation awards fellowships annually to creative artists of Cuban lineage who reside outside of Cuba. The Foundation was established with funds from the estate of Oscar B. Cintas (1887–1957), former Cuban ambassador to the United States, a prominent industrialist and patron of the arts.

An exhibition and presentation highlighting the work of the 2012 CINTAS Foundation Fellowship Finalists in the three disciplines, visual arts, architecture, and music composition, will be hosted by Miami Dade College at the historic Freedom Tower in October. Winners of the Fellowship will be announced shortly thereafter.
