CALL FOR PRINTS
Southern Graphics International Conference
Print Exhibition and Sale
New York Academy of Art
Work chosen will represent the New York Academy of Art at the 2012 Southern Graphics international Conference. The Conference will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana March 14-17th, 2012. All work chosen will be exhibited and sold at the New York Academy of Arts conference table.
-Open to all current students and alumni working in any printmaking method: intaglio, relief, lithography, monotype/print, mixed methods, etc.
-If chosen, you must have at least 3 of each print (i.e. editions, artist proofs, or monoprints of the plate). One-of-a-kind monotypes are welcome.
-Work must be properly printed with clean straight edges.
-Artist does not have to attend the conference to submit work.
-All work chosen MUST be for sale.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE Friday, February 24th at 6pm.
-Submit up to 6 jpeg images
-No files larger than 1MB, preferably 700 pixels max at its longest side/72 dpi
-Files must be titled Lastname_Firstname_Titleofwork.jpg

-Subject of email: SGC Submissions
Name of Artist, Year of Graduation
Email MUST include information on each piece submitted:
title, year, dimensions, medium, price
**Submissions missing any of the above information will not be included**
-The Academy will take a 25% commission from each sale that will help fund the cost of the conference and Academy print shop.
-Accepted artists will be notified one week after deadline.
-Accepted work must be delivered no later than Friday, March 9th at 6pm to the New York Academy of Art.
-Loan forms will be available at the front desk where you can also drop off your accepted prints. EACH ACCEPTED WORK MUST INCLUDE A LOAN FORM.
