Seeking detail-oriented, senior Painter to work full-time with leading contemporary artist in a demanding studio atmosphere. At least 3 years experience with automotive and industrial paint systems is required. Experience with the painting, masking, and finishing of complex 3-dimensional forms is also required. Prior experience working with artists and painting sculptures is a strong plus. Work entails coordinating the workflow of the Sculpture-Painting area, finishing 3-dimensional aluminum and bronze sculptures with industrial paint systems, paint / surface preparation, and matching color with a high level of precision. ensuring that the highest level of craft is achieved with each sculpture.
