Belvoir Terrace

Belvoir Terrace, a girls Visual and Performing Arts Summer program, located in Lenox, MA, has ONE opening for the summer of 2015: Salary $2,600 (negotiable depending on teaching experience) plus travel allowance, room, board, and art supplies. MFA artists interested in teaching talented, motivated young women in a supportive, individually structured residential arts community.  Fifteen art teachers, each a specialist with their own teaching studio.  Staff order their supplies and develop curriculum.  Teaching experience preferred, but talented artists given a chance to gain experience.  Limited specific counseling, must be comfortable living, teaching, working in an all arts community.  No Smokers.

2015 Head Start Modeling Competition

The National  Sculpture Society  is accepting entries to the 2015 Head Start Modeling Competition. The competition takes place in  Philadelphia on June 26 and is open to sculptors ages 21-35. Artist's Assistant

We are looking for 1-2 assistants to paint at the artist's studio. 
The position would be part-time and hours per week would be flexible and depend on the project. Rate per hour starting at $15. The artist's studio is located in Jersey City in Mana Contemporary. He has another studio in Soho, but assistants would be working in the New Jersey location. 
Skills/ Requirements:

- Ability to paint in a hyperrealistic style with oil paint

- Detail oriented

- Build frames and stretchers

- Stretch canvases

- Art handeling

- Willing to work on other projects of mixed media.

Denise Bibro Fine Art is pleased to announce an open call to artists for our “Art From the Boros III” exhibition in 2015. The primary purpose of the exhibition is to bring untapped and underexposed talent in all of the 5 boroughs of New York to the public’s attention. After visiting all of the finalists’ studios, a selection of the most talented of the group will be featured in a group exhibition at Denise Bibro Fine Art in 2015. Large skylights, large windows, ground level, large barn door, 24/7 access, no living. $1.42 square foot, incl utilities. Room is 1750 sq/ft. Room to share for approx 3 or 4 sculptors. One sculptor from Florence Academy. Accessible by bus, Rockland coaches. Nice setting w/ horse stable on the property. Approx. 1/2 hr by car from NYC.
